THE CHALLENGE
The Masters is a legendary tournament, but Flatstick’s take on it needed to feel both prestigious and approachable. The challenge was to nod to golf’s heritage without becoming stuffy or losing the pub’s signature playfulness. We had to find a way to honor the "sore legs" and competitive spirit of an athlete while keeping it fun and community-driven. The design needed to feel like a lost relic from a more colorful era of sports history.
THE RESULT
We went full retro, pulling from 1970s country club aesthetics and vintage promos. A dusty, throwback palette and heavy-weight serif fonts turned back the clock, giving the event an "instant-classic" feel that honored the tradition of the game while keeping the beer cold. We focused on sun-faded colors and weathered textures to make the branding feel like it had been sitting in a clubhouse for decades. It’s a perfect mix of "cold beer" energy and high-stakes mini-golf competition.
